This meet was the culmination of an explosive 2012-2013 Short Course season for the Tide. According to Coach Yearwood, “This was the greatest performance we have had in the history of our team, and to have such success at a meet of this caliber gave the Tide very positive national exposure. There were so many highlights, it’s hard to pick just one, but having our boys relay get on the podium to receive their medals and roses was definitely a crowning moment for the team. Watching Tide swimmers win heat after heat is something I will remember for a long time.” With the incredible growth the Tide has been experiencing, the team hopes to double the number of swimmers that attend Sunkissed next year and continue to make an impression on the national swimming community.
